Black Angel stormed onto the Goth/Post-Punk scene in 2018, dropping their debut album The Widow with that raw, true ’80s vibe. The fans went wild, and by 2020, they were back in the studio cranking out follow-ups like Kiss of Death, Prince of Darkness, The Black Rose, and now, their latest album Lascivious is on the horizon.

Frontman and producer Matt Vowles, born and raised in the UK, soaked in the iconic sounds of Bauhaus, Sisters of Mercy, The Damned, and Xmal Deutschland in the ’80s—what he calls the golden age of Goth.
